IMPLANT
A dental implant designates the lower part of an artificial tooth replacing the root of a damaged or missing tooth. Composed by a 10 to 15mm rod in biocompatible material (titanium or zircone), the implant is screwed in the jaw bone and works as a shock-absorber between the bone and the tooth, and serves as an anchor to a dental crown or a dental prosthesis. The dental implantology helps to find a comfortable chewing back, as well as a better diction. It can replace one or several missing or damaged teeth, and even a complete dentition, and is adapted to nearly all cases. The laying of an artificial root maintains the bone without affecting the neighboring teeth or the jaw, and ables to fix a dental prosthesis that will replace a tooth identically, by its function and its aesthetical aspect. The operation is done several weeks before the prosthesis implantation, in order to let the organism colonise the implant, as a bone grafting.

DENTAL IMPLANT
When one or more teeth are missing, the smile is no longer the same. The balance and functioning of the teeth are also disturbed. The placement of a dental implant is, then, a possible solution to redo or replace missing teeth.
Placing a dental implant consists of inserting an artificial titanium root – a biocompatible material – under the gumline. This root will serve as a support for your new tooth. It is the best option to find the comfort, but also the aesthetics of the smile, especially when some teeth cannot be preserved. The result is also perfect and long-lasting to permanently forget the complexes.
WHAT IS A DENTAL IMPLANT?
An implant in dentistry is a non-deforming titanium screw (often in the form of a cylinder) intended to replace the root of a natural tooth. It is, therefore, surgically anchored in the jawbone and the dentist will place an all-ceramic dental crown there to fill the missing tooth due to loss or tooth extraction. This new artificial tooth matches the shape and contour of your natural teeth.
On your dental implant, it is also possible to place a bridge, a denture with a retention bar or a dental prosthesis depending on the case and the patient or even to fix a denture for increased comfort and stability.
The placement of a dental implant allows you to regain the aesthetics and balance of your teeth and your teeth, but above all to recover a quality of life on a daily basis.
AESTHETICS AND COMFORT
AESTHETICS AND COMFORT
Unlike traditional bridges, the implant does not rest on adjacent healthy teeth. It will lodge directly in the jaw bone. Thanks to its high stability, you will again enjoy all the pleasure of talking and eating. As the dental implant is a fixed prosthesis inserted into the maxillary bone, the comfort will be optimal compared to a removable device. It maintains dental balance and promotes bone preservation. In addition, the result is more aesthetic.
RELIABLE AND SAFE TECHNOLOGY
The technology and technique of implantology are reliable and proven. The implant is made from a resistant and biocompatible material, it is designed to adhere naturally to the bone and tissues of the dental structure. But it must be well indicated for the patient. You should know that implant surgery today is a benign and painless operation. You will not risk feeling pain or compression at the time of the procedure and will be able to resume your daily habits and activities very quickly.
LONGEVITY
The dental implant is distinguished by its great longevity. It also resists chewing very well. Its lifespan can go up to several decades if you strictly observe the rules of dental hygiene and follow the maintenance conditions. Apart from daily brushing, you will need to have a check-up with the dental surgeon once every 6 months to monitor the progress of the implants and possibly perform scaling to keep your teeth healthy.
What ıs bone support?
BONE SUPPORT
• BONE GRAFT AND SINUS LIFT
• BONE GRAFT
• SINUS LIFT
A lesser-known consequence of patients losing teeth and not replacing them is the loss of bone support. Indeed, the bone loses height and its structure changes. This deterioration, which takes place over the long term, can compromise the subsequent replacement of the missing tooth: in fact, for the implant to be placed, sufficient bone volume must be available. This will be evaluated by a 3D scanner which will determine the quality and quantity of the bone. If there is not enough bone, a bone graft can fill this defect and allow to find an adequate volume for the establishment of the implant. However, it is best to avoid this kind of situation by replacing any missing teeth as soon as possible.
